Connecting with AppleShare over IP

AppleShare IP software that lets you connect to other Apple Macintosh computers on a local network or the Internet and use the contents of shared folders or disk. Mac OS 9 users can also share files over the internet. AppleShare with IP is installed with all Macintosh OS from OS 8.1

From the Apple Menuin the upper left of your screen, click and drag down to the Chooser.

Click the Server IP Address button. When you click the Server IP Address button, a dialog box appears in which you can type the DNS name (ftp.stylecraft.net).

Cick on Connect and you will be promped by a login window.

Click Guest or Registered User and use the login name "customer" and enter the password provided by you Style Craft representative. Password will be all lower case.

After you connect a new icon will apear on your desktop.

Click on the Icon and navagate to the "upload" folder. Drag and drop the files you need to send onto the folder "incoming" folder.

When you are done transfering the files, drag the icon to your trash. Be sure you notify your Style Craft representative when you are finish. We will not check for files unless you let us know.
