Install QuickMail
Pro 2.02
Have your email password ready, see end of document.
Mount our server: Server 1 -> Software -> CE Software -> QuickMail2.02 and QuickMail Pro Updater and drag the two items to your desktop.
QuickMail Pro Install --- is for installing software version 2.02
QuickMail Pro Updater --- is for updating to version 2.03
Restart your computer with extensions OFF by holding down the shift key during startup until you see the greeting window with Welcome to Mac OS and Extensions Off.
Double click on "QuickMail Pro Install"
From this window you can designate where you install the Quick Mail application folder. Click on the Desktop button and select your hard disk. Click on the button below the browser window, when you see the name of your hard disk on the button, click on the button.
The installer will now install a "QuickMail Pro Folder" on your hard disk.
You may see this screen:
Click Yes.
Restart you computer and let it start normally with extensions ON.
Quick Mail Pro should auto with the QuickMail logon screen
Click "Quit"
Ugrade to QuickMail Pro
2.03
Restart again with extensions OFF as before.
Click on "QuickMail Pro Updater" and follow the directions
—> Continue > Continue > Agree and let it install the updates.Restart the computer with extensions ON, normal restart.
When you com to the QuickMail Login screen this time enter your password
and click Login.
At this screen you need to click on the button for "Activation Key" and enter "CKE3Q24HKHMA42" in place of "From Registration Card" and click "OK" .
Restart your computer
Your email client is now ready for you use.
